The month of June witnessed the visit of a 12 member delegation from World Bank (USA) and representatives from the Ministry of Education of Peru and Costa Rica to learn about platform thinking in education and how platforms are being leveraged to implement large-scale educational change programs.
The delegates visited the schools in Chandapura cluster, Bangalore where Mantra4Change has been implementing its Cluster Transformation Program. They observed how the stakeholders in the cluster are using ShikshaLokam platform in their daily activities like classroom observation, professional development for teachers & school leaders, school development planning, etc. One of the education leaders in the cluster shared how the use of technology in her work makes her feel empowered. It was encouraging to hear the stakeholders talk about their improved sense of agency and effectiveness in their work.
There are indeed great possibilities that platforms hold. It is the collaboration with our partners like Mantra4Change that make these possibilities come alive. |
