Rationale for inclusion in the Taxonomy

The field of educational leadership has recognized the growing influence of non-state actors, world bodies and ecosystem actors’ and their own work as influencing significantly educational outcomes, Off these, increasingly guidelines, and policies instituted by these entities move from being normative to regulative. For example, the idea of education within the Sustainable Goals framework, for which India is a signatory has some compliance requirements mandated of schools. Similarly guidelines emerging on participatory and inclusive schools, community involvement in schools, funding norms requiring specific resources in schools or re-structuring of schools all have significant impact on school work.
