Rationale for inclusion in the Taxonomy

Educational (K-12) leadership’s primary focus is on how schools can be led and managed. This includes focusing on developing the leading capabilities of individuals and organizations within the K-12 space. Leading schools effectively such that school and student outcomes improve is the focus of this concept and is foundational to K-12 educational leadership.
